In photography, the shutter speed or the exposure time is the length of time that the film or digital sensor inside the camera will be exposed to light. This happens when a camera's shutter is open when taking a photograph. The amount of light that reaches the film or image sensor is proportional to the exposure time.
I decided to look at different shuttle speed effects by looking at my class mates and at cars outside my college. I took photos at 1/125fps to 1/2 fps to see the different speeds I could capture using my camera. For the photos of my class mates I used fast shutter speed to capture the movements of them spinning (1/125fps). Using a slow shutter speed I was able to capture a in depth photo of the cars and the speed they are travelling at (1/15 fps).
