I have listed 5 things I must consider when working on my project.
1) When work I could end up losing power on the device I am working on which means that I will lose all my unsaved work. This would affect myself and my assessor as I would be holding them back from marking my work and I would put myself under unnecessacry stress to redo my work. To prevent this from happening I should back up my work every 5 to 10 mins to create a regular habit of saving work.
2) I could run out of materials and equipment during a painting or other piece of work; this means that I would need to run out and get more materials and equipment such as painting and paintbrushes. This would affect myself and my assessor because I would be wasting time getting more materials and equipment, as well as, going over my deadline date to submit work. To prevent this i should buy a bit more supplies than I would need before hand to make sure I don't run out when working and I wont waste time getting more supplies.
3) The camera I am using to take photos for my work could die which means that I would need to go hoe and recharge it instead of getting more photos. This would affect myself as I would ned to wait until my camera is charged and they get more photos the next day instead of doing it in one day. To prevent time waste I could bring a portable charger to recharge the battery of the camera when walking about; I could bring a second camera to use when my other camera dies do I don't need to go back and charge it; and I could make sure it is charged 100% the night or day before so that i can use it for the maximum amount of time.
4) When I am working i could accidentally messing up a painting that I have been working on and this means that i would waste all the time i spent on it and need to restart it. This would affect myself and my assessor as they would not get my work in time and I could lose marks for my portfolio. To prevent this I could create a sample sized and smaller version of my work to test the colours and style I would be using. This can also help me look for flaws in my work and help me further develop my ideas.
5) When painting with mediums such as oil colours harmful and irritable chemicals such as white spirits can be used when I'm working and this could cause myself, my peers and my tutor to become ill or sick if I do not take precautions. To prevent this from happening I would make sure to protect myself by washing my hands frequently or by wearing safely glasses or gloves so it doesn't irritate my skin; and to prevent harm to my tutor and peers I would make sure I'm working in a well ventilated room to make sure the smell of the white spirits dos not make anyone in the room naeueous.
